Encore Clerbrook Golf & RV Resort Review

The Full Review

We came to Clerbrook because Lake Magic was full, and it turned out to be a significant upgrade. Where Lake Magic feels like a basic RV park, Clerbrook feels like a resort that takes itself seriously. The 18-hole golf course wrapping around the property sets the tone. This is an Encore park that is actually trying to be something more.

Located on US-27 in Clermont, the park is about 35 minutes from Disney and close to the rolling hills and citrus groves of central Florida’s lake country. The area is more residential than touristy, which gives Clerbrook a different vibe from the Kissimmee parks.

Site & Setup 14/20

Sites are concrete pads with grass and landscaping between them. The RV section is well-separated from the golf course and the permanent park model homes. Our premium back-in was level, spacious, and had a concrete patio with a picnic table. Hookups were in good condition. The 50-amp service delivered clean, consistent power through both of our extended stays. Water pressure was strong. The overall site quality is a step above most TT/Encore parks we have used.

The park is large, over 1,200 sites total, but the sections are well-organized and navigating with our 40-footer was manageable.

Connectivity 14/20

Connectivity is mid-tier. T-Mobile held three bars of 4G. The park Wi-Fi is paid, $5 per day or $15 per week, and works for basic browsing. Starlink performed well in the open sections. I worked remotely through both stays with a combination of cellular and Starlink. It is not as strong as Cherry Hill, but it is functional for the remote worker who plans ahead.

Offspring & Family 12/15

The pool is resort-grade. Large, heated, clean, with a hot tub and lounging area that actually feels curated rather than afterthought. There is a separate kiddie splash area. The playground is above average. Organized activities include bingo, line dancing, potluck dinners, and craft nights, though most cater to the retired demographic. For families, the pool and the open green spaces are the primary draws. Our kids rode bikes on the golf cart paths and swam daily.

Unity & Community 8/10

Clerbrook skews heavily toward retirees and snowbirds. We were the youngest family in the park during both stays. The residents were universally welcoming and sweet. Several invited us to potluck dinners and the kids made friends with grandparent-aged neighbors who were delighted to have young energy around. The community is established and warm. Noise is minimal. Quiet hours are respected.

Territory & Location 12/15

Clermont is a practical location. Publix is 2 miles away. Walmart is 3 miles. Disney is about 35 minutes. Legoland is 20 minutes. The area around US-27 is more suburban than scenic, but the rolling hills west of town are genuinely pretty. The South Lake Trail system offers good cycling. The scenery within the park, with the golf course and landscaping, is more attractive than the surrounding area.

Essentials & Facilities 8/10

The bathhouse and laundry facilities are well-maintained. Clean, functional, and updated more recently than most Encore parks. The clubhouse is large with a full kitchen, stage for events, and meeting rooms. There is a fitness center that actually has equipment worth using. The camp store covers basics. The golf pro shop handles anything golf-related.

Dollars & Value 8/10

With a TT membership, standard sites are included. Premium sites carry a modest surcharge. Compared to paying green fees at a comparable golf course plus a resort hotel, the value is strong. The park charges for Wi-Fi and some activities, which adds up over a 25-night stay. But the base cost through TT makes Clerbrook an excellent value for what you get.
