Stay N Go RV Resort Review — Marianna, FL

The Full Review

We pulled into Stay N Go on a Tuesday evening heading west on I-10, tired and needing a flat spot for the night. Two stoplights off Exit 142 and we were parked. That’s the pitch — convenience. And on that front, it delivers. The entrance is easy for a Class A, the pull-throughs are dead level, and by the time we had the slides out the kids were already asking about the Sonny’s they saw on the way in.

Marianna isn’t a destination most RVers plan around, but it has more going on than you’d think. Florida Caverns State Park is 15 minutes away — the only dry caves open to the public in the entire state. Jackson Blue Spring is 12 minutes out and the water is absurdly clear. We turned a one-night stop into two because of it.

Site & Setup 13/20

The concrete pull-throughs are the way to go. Level, long enough for our rig, full hookups with 50/30/20 amp options. The grass back-ins along the perimeter are cheaper but you’ll need leveling blocks and they get soft after rain. No picnic tables, no fire rings, no patio furniture — you bring your own or you sit inside. Shade is minimal across the park. It’s an open lot behind a commercial strip, and it feels like one.

Connectivity 15/20

Cell signal is the bright spot. T-Mobile and Verizon both pull 5G here — we had full bars across all three carriers. Park WiFi exists but don’t count on it for anything beyond checking email. We ran everything through cellular without issues. If you’re working from the road and just need one night of strong signal to push a big upload, Marianna won’t let you down.

Offspring & Family 3/15

This is where Stay N Go takes its biggest hit. No pool. No playground. No game room. No activities of any kind. For a quick overnight, the kids survive — they watched a movie in the rig and were fine. But if you’re here for two nights like we were, you’ll want to plan around Florida Caverns or Blue Springs to keep them occupied. The park itself offers nothing for children. Safety is fine — it’s quiet and well-lit — but there’s nowhere for kids to roam or play.

Unity & Community 8/10

The staff here is genuinely warm. Southern hospitality isn’t just a bumper sticker in Marianna — they helped us find our site, gave restaurant recommendations, and chatted with the kids. The park has a mix of overnighters and long-term residents. Noise-wise, it’s mostly quiet despite being right off the interstate, though you’ll catch some commercial traffic from the surrounding businesses during the day.

Territory & Location 10/15

Groceries and conveniences are the best thing about this location. Walmart is literally across the street. Sonny’s BBQ is behind you. Firehouse Subs, Ruby Tuesday’s, and multiple gas stations are within walking distance. You will not go hungry or unprovisioned.

The real surprise is what’s nearby. Florida Caverns State Park (15 minutes) is a legitimate attraction — the only publicly accessible dry caves in Florida, with guided tours through cathedral-like limestone rooms. Jackson Blue Spring (12 minutes) is a First Magnitude spring feeding Merritt’s Mill Pond, where you can do clear kayaking over underwater caves. The historic district in Marianna has 180+ antebellum buildings. None of this is obvious from the parking-lot setting of the park itself.

Scenery from your site, though? Commercial strip. That’s the tradeoff.

Essentials & Facilities 5/10

The laundry room is coin-operated and functional. The bathhouse situation is confusing — there are restroom facilities but public showers are not offered. For an overnight stop where you’re using your own rig’s bathroom, this doesn’t matter. For tent campers or anyone whose shower is broken, it’s a dealbreaker. No camp store, no clubhouse, no cable TV — bring everything you need with you.

Dollars & Value 7/10

Here’s where it gets tricky. $69/night for a concrete pull-through at a no-amenities transit stop in the Florida panhandle is a tough sell. The grass back-ins at $59 aren’t much better. The weekly rate ($414 pull-through, $354 back-in) softens the blow with a free seventh night. Monthly rates ($950/$695–795) are where the math starts working if you’re doing contract work in the area. Booking is easy — online or phone, no hassle. Note the $3 credit card processing fee on every transaction.
