What It Won't Do
Fair is fair — here's what One Medical doesn't cover:

- Mental health therapy — they can renew depression/anxiety meds, but full therapy, psychiatry, and counseling require a separate provider.
- Emergencies — if you need an ER, go to the ER. This is for primary care, not trauma.
- In-person offices everywhere — 125+ locations is a lot, but they're concentrated in major metro areas. For in-person visits, you may need to wait until you're near a city. (Virtual care works anywhere, though.)
Our Take
Before One Medical, healthcare on the road was reactive. Something goes wrong, scramble to find a clinic, sit in a waiting room, explain everything from scratch, get a prescription you might not be able to fill before you leave town.
